Underdog Awards — How to Submit Nominations on In Da Streets Radio

Step 1: Go to the Contest Page

Log into the In Da Streets Radio Platform and scroll down to the Contest  for the Underdog Awards.

Step 2: Enter Nominee Details

Fill out the form with the following info:

• Nominee Name: Who are you nominating?

• Category: Select Artist, Producer, Podcaster, DJ, or Videographer.

• Links: Add links to their work (music, podcast episodes, videos, etc.).

• Why They Deserve It: Write a short paragraph about why they stand out — how they’re making an impact in their community or craft.

Step 3: Confirm Participation

Before submitting, make sure your nominee is willing to participate.
Unresponsive or uninterested nominees will be removed from the list.

Step 4: Submit Your Nomination

Once all fields are complete, click Submit to enter them into the monthly contest.

Our Timeline

• 1st–15th: Nominations Open
  Artists and fans can submit nominations in all categories throughout the month.

• 15th–28th: Voting Period
  Fans vote for their favorite Underdogs in each category.

  Note: Voting runs while nominations are still open, so newly nominated artists can still be voted for during this window.

• 30th: Winners Announced
  Winners in each category are revealed.

Monthly winners are revealed live on In Da Streets Radio and across our social platforms.

Following Month: Spotlight Feature

Each winner receives:

• A full interview and feature

• Recognition on-air

• Placement in the Underdog Hall of Fame
